Usage & Safety

For Adult

• For healing of erosive esophagitis: 60 mg once daily for up to 8 weeks, as directed by a physician.
• For symptomatic gastroesophageal reflux disease: the usual dose is 30 mg once daily for up to 4 weeks; the 60 mg strength should be used only when prescribed.
• Swallow the capsule whole. Do not crush or chew the capsule or its contents.
• May be taken with or without food and should be used according to the prescribed duration.

For Children

• Use in children and adolescents only on the advice of a pediatrician.
• Safety and effectiveness are not established for children under 12 years of age.
