Usage & Safety

For Adult

• For erosive esophagitis: commonly 60 mg once daily for up to 8 weeks, followed by a maintenance dose of 30 mg once daily when appropriate.
• For symptomatic non-erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease: commonly 30 mg once daily for 4 weeks.
• Swallow the capsule whole; do not crush or chew the modified-release contents. It may generally be taken with or without food.
• Use the dose and treatment duration prescribed by the doctor, particularly in patients with liver disease or long-term symptoms.

For Children

• Use in adolescents 12 years and older should follow a physician’s prescription and indication-specific dosing.

Side Effects
