Usage & Safety

For Adult

• For healing erosive esophagitis: 60 mg once daily for up to 8 weeks, or as directed by a physician.
• For symptomatic non-erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease, the usual dose is 30 mg once daily; a 60 mg capsule should not be substituted unless prescribed.
• For maintenance of healed erosive esophagitis, the usual dose is 30 mg once daily.
• May be taken with or without food. Swallow the capsule whole; do not crush or chew it.

For Children

• Use in adolescents 12 years and older only under medical supervision and according to the diagnosed condition.
• For patients aged 12–17 years, dosing may follow condition-specific adolescent recommendations.
• Safety and effectiveness have not been established for children younger than 12 years for all indications.
• No weight-based dosing recommendation is established for this 60 mg capsule.

Side Effects
