Usage & Safety
For Adult
- Apply a thin layer to the affected area once or twice daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional.

For Children
- Use in children only on medical advice and under supervision.
- Avoid prolonged use, large treatment areas, skin folds, and application under diapers or tight coverings.
- Do not use in infants unless specifically prescribed by a healthcare professional.
- Children may be more susceptible to corticosteroid-related systemic effects, including growth suppression and adrenal effects.
Side Effects
- Common: Burning, stinging, itching, irritation, dryness, redness, or discomfort at the application site.
- Possible with prolonged or excessive use: Skin thinning, stretch marks, acne-like eruptions, folliculitis, increased hair growth, pigmentation changes, and delayed wound healing.
- Allergic contact dermatitis or worsening infection may occur.
- Serious or extensive-use effects may include blurred vision, adrenal suppression, Cushingoid effects, or growth retardation in children.
- Stop use and seek medical advice for severe irritation, facial swelling, breathing difficulty, vision changes, or rapidly worsening infection.
Contraindications
- Allergy to betamethasone, gentamicin, aminoglycoside antibiotics, corticosteroids, or any product ingredient.
- Untreated viral, fungal, parasitic, or mycobacterial skin infections, including chickenpox, herpes infections, cutaneous tuberculosis, or syphilis.

- Do not apply to the eyes, ear canal, mucous membranes, open wounds, or genital and anal areas unless prescribed.
- Avoid use on extensive areas, burns, or under airtight dressings unless directed by a physician.
Precautions & Warnings
- Significant interactions are uncommon when used correctly on a small skin area.
- Tell the healthcare professional about other topical or systemic antibiotics, corticosteroids, aminoglycosides, or medicines that may affect the kidneys or hearing.
- Concurrent use with other steroid-containing skin products may increase the risk of corticosteroid side effects.
- Do not combine with occlusive dressings unless specifically instructed.
Pregnancy
- Use during pregnancy only when clearly needed and prescribed by a healthcare professional.
- Apply the smallest amount to the smallest area for the shortest practical duration.
- Avoid prolonged use, large-area application, and occlusion during pregnancy.
- During breastfeeding, do not apply to the nipple or areola immediately before feeding, and prevent the infant from contacting treated skin.
