For Adult
- For adults and patients weighing 35 kg or more: 26.7 mL per dose for 6 doses over 3 days.

- Shake well before measuring each dose and take with food or a milky drink containing fat to improve absorption.

For Children
- For children weighing 5 to less than 15 kg: 6.7 mL per dose for 6 doses over 3 days.
- For children weighing 15 to less than 25 kg: 13.3 mL per dose for 6 doses over 3 days.
- For children weighing 25 to less than 35 kg: 20 mL per dose for 6 doses over 3 days.
- For children weighing 35 kg or more: 26.7 mL per dose for 6 doses over 3 days.
- Children below 5 kg, infants, and children with suspected severe malaria require specialist assessment before treatment.
- Measure doses with an accurate oral syringe or measuring device rather than a household spoon.
Side Effects
- Common effects may include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, reduced appetite, headache, dizziness, weakness, cough, or fever.
- Temporary changes in liver enzymes or blood cell counts may occur.
- Seek urgent medical care for fainting, palpitations, severe dizziness, seizures, severe rash, facial swelling, breathing difficulty, persistent vomiting, or yellowing of the skin or eyes.
- Medical review is required if fever or malaria symptoms persist or return after treatment.
Contraindications
- Do not use in patients with known allergy to artemether, lumefantrine, or any formulation ingredient.
- Avoid use in patients with congenital long-QT syndrome, significant heart rhythm problems, severe bradycardia, or clinically important electrolyte abnormalities unless specifically directed by a specialist.
